A Wisconsin woman involved in a three-vehicle crash has died from injuries as a result of the incident.
The woman, who is from Waterloo, was a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in the crash last week in Dodge County. She died from her injuries last Monday afternoon.

An article by USA Today reports that on the evening of May 4, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash involving three vehicles on State 89 at the intersection of County Highway T in Portland.
“Patricia Winter, 52, was driving a 2007 Jeep on State 89 and failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of County Highway T,” the article reads. “The Jeep struck a 2003 Dodge driven by Benjamin Stevens, 18, of Waterloo, who was traveling north on County Highway T. His car was forced into the County Highway T southbound traffic lane and struck a 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Duane Schoenherr, 32, of Waterloo, who was stopped at the posted stop sign.”
The passenger of Winter’s Jeep was identified by authorities as Helen Henkel , 88, of Waterloo. Henkel was taken by the Waterloo EMS to Columbus Hospital. She was later transferred to the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison where she died as a result of the injuries she sustained in the crash.
Schoenherr, Stevens and Winter reportedly suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident. Winter was also taken by Waterloo EMS to Columbus Hospital.
The Dodge County Medical Examiner and the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team are continuing an investigation into the crash. The Waterloo Police, Waterloo Fire and EMS and the Dodge County Medical Examiner reportedly assisted at the scene.
