An employee who works for a Milwaukee-based company was killed Wednesday night after a commercial air conditioner fell off a truck a crushed her.

According to an article in The Seattle Times, the commercial air conditioner weighed 3,200 pounds and fell off a truck at a Pennsylvania plant.
Johnson Controls, Inc. is an American multinational conglomerate producing automotive parts such as batteries and electronics and HVAC equipment for buildings. It employs 170,000 people in more than 1,300 locations across six continents. Johnson Controls headquarters are in Milwaukee Wisconsin .
“Jennifer Wright was helping load the unit onto a trailer at a Johnson Controls plant in Spring Garden Township when it fell off a pallet and landed on her Wednesday night,” the article reads.
The 37-year-old West York woman was freed from underneath the equipment and taken to a hospital, where she later died from injuries sustained in the incident.
“York County Coroner Pam Gay classified Wright’s death as work-related. An autopsy was scheduled for Friday, (July 29, 2016)” according to the article.
Wright was reportedly a temporary employee of the Wisconsin-based company. The article doesn’t reveal the length of time Wright had worked for Johnson Controls.
The vice president of global communications for Johnson Controls released a statement to the public saying that the company is deeply saddened by Wright’s death.
No other information in regards to the incident has been released.
