The sheriff’s department released a statement saying the crash between the semi-truck and a minivan happened about 7:45 a.m. at the corner of Luxemburg Road and Rendezvous Road in the Town of Luxemburg, according to an article by WTAQ.
“The semi was driving north on Rendezvous when the driver, a 51-year-old Crivitz man, ran the stop sign and struck the minivan,” the article reads. “The semi driver lost control, went off the road and hit a utility pole. The semi’s trailer was empty at the time, officials say.”
According to the article, a 32-year-old Luxemburg woman was driving the minivan. She and one of the two children who were riding in the van as passengers were taken to the hospital with injuries they sustained as a result of the crash.
Various news reports suggests their injuries were non-life threatening.
