Five people were injured on Saturday after two vehicles crashed head-on in Sheboygan County. One day later, five people were injured in a roll-over crash in Waupaca.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office released last Sunday the names of those involved in the head-on crash in Sheboygan County.
“A car driven by Xor Lee, 26, of Sheboygan collided head-on with a van driven by Kari J. Freis, 39, of Newton at 4:40 p.m. Saturday on State Highway 23 in the town of Greenbush,” an article in the Milwaukee Wisconsin State Journal Sentinel reads.
Lee was reportedly flown by Flight for Life to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah with life-threatening injuries sustained in the crash.
“Freis and three passengers in her van, Nancy S. Weier, 70, of Manitowoc, Kaitlyn K.J. Freis, 13, and Edward E. Freis, 10, both of Newton, suffered incapacitating injuries and were taken to St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan,” the article reads.
Just one day later, five other people were injured in a rollover crash on County Trunk E near Marsh Street in Waupaca.
The second crash reportedly occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 7 at 1:45 a.m.
“Waupaca Police Chief Brian Hoelzel reported that Clayton Kluck, 20, Iola, was the driver,” an article in the Waupaca County News reads.
The four passengers were identified by authorities as Anthony Meverden, 22, Iola; Sheyann Fletcher, 24, Plover; Toni Grawvunder, 22, Ogdensburg; and Easton Meverden, 20, Manawa.
“Kluck and one passenger were airlifted to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah for critical injuries,” the WCN reports.
A third passenger was reportedly transported by ambulance to Neenah with non-critical injuries. Two other passengers who also had non-critical injuries were taken to ThedaCare in Waupaca.
No further details about the crash have been released and the crash is still being investigated.
