Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Pierce County on Wednesday. According to various media reports, the incident occurred that afternoon.
The two were driving in Trimbelle Township, Wisconsin when the vehicle they were traveling in was struck by a Ford F250.
“The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office reports that a 1995 GMC Sierra driven by 37-year-old Angel M. Conner of Boyceville, Wis. was traveling west on County Road J near 870th Street at around 5:26 p.m. Wednesday.
An eastbound 2003 Ford F250 being driven by 32-year-old Jared M. Nelson of River Falls crossed the centerline while negotiating a curve,” an article published on the KSTP website reads.
As a result, the Ford F250 struck the Sierra.
The two people who were traveling in the Sierra, Conner and Michael J. Hultman, 47-years-old, who was riding in the front seat passenger side of the car, were injured as a result of the crash.
They were both transported to River Falls Area Hospital with injuries.
The article does not mention the extent of their injuries or whether Nelson was charged with anything in connection to the collision.

So far, in 2017, 114 fatalities have been reported to the Wisconsin DOT. Ten fatalities were reported in Pierce County last year and two so far this year.
Between 2009 and 2014, an average of 29,036 injury crashes were reported in the state of Wisconsin and a total average of 111,791 crashes were reported to the Wisconsin DOT.
In Pierce County, an average of 504 crashes were reported to the Wisconsin DOT from 2009 to 2014. The county with the highest average of crashes between 2009 and 2014 was Milwaukee, with an average of 19,800 crashes being reported to the DOT.
